Spring 2012 English 160 UIC students (whose videos can be found under February 2012 tabs) were asked to create visual essays on Chicago. They were asked to consider the following themes and to pick one: Immigration, Art, Education, Social Class and Violence. The goal was to create a visual argument on Chicago and one of these themes. "Graffiti and Chicago" by Jasmine Vukosavljevic (theme: Chicago and Arts). Chicago is filled with arts including graffiti art. This video takes a look at the positivity of graffiti and the impact positive graffiti has on Chicago.
