Spring 2012 English 160 UIC students (whose videos can be found under February 2012 tabs) were asked to create visual essays on Chicago. They were asked to consider the following themes and to pick one: Immigration, Art, Education, Social Class and Violence. The goal was to create a visual argument on Chicago and one of these themes. "Chicago's Public Art" by Jacob Waas
This video is about Chicago's public art. It focuses on three public art works and how they are viewed by the public. Furthermore, the video argues how and why the public art is being taken for granted.
