Spring 2012 English 160 UIC students (whose videos can be found under February 2012 tabs) were asked to create visual essays on Chicago. They were asked to consider the following themes and to pick one: Immigration, Art, Education, Social Class and Violence. The goal was to create a visual argument on Chicago and one of these themes. "Change and the Effect on our Social Classes" by Ivan Rosado
This
video shows some of the changes Chicago is going through and how these
changes effect the community. It explains that even though changes
create improvements for the higher social classes it can hurt the lower
social classes.
