Spring 2012 English 160 UIC students (whose videos can be found under February 2012 tabs) were asked to create visual essays on Chicago. They were asked to consider the following themes and to pick one: Immigration, Art, Education, Social Class and Violence. The goal was to create a visual argument on Chicago and one of these themes. I believe the parks in Chicago are valuable resource that we need to protect. That is why i chose them for my project because we need to get people to see them as essential.
