Spring 2012 English 160 UIC students (whose videos can be found under February 2012 tabs) were asked to create visual essays on Chicago. They were asked to consider the following themes and to pick one: Immigration, Art, Education, Social Class and Violence. The goal was to create a visual argument on Chicago and one of these themes. The importance of how gang violence is currently effecting south side of Chicago. It is really terrible and its even dangerous to walk home at broad daylight at certain neighborhoods I believe someone should do something about it.
